Any flight experience is a fantastic gift idea for anyone wishing to get a taste of what it is like to fly a big jet liner. All sessions include a briefing from the instructor covering the basic flight instruments and flight controls prior to take-off. All flights put you at the controls, and can be tailored to your requirements.

All 30 minute flights include at least 1 take-off and landing and will also cover basic aircraft handling skills and some basic navigation skills.

On every flight of sufficient duration you will have the opportunity to...

• learn basic flight controls for throttle, flaps, rudders, elevators and ailerons
• get an in depth look at the aircraft and its on board systems
• explore the procedures implemented prior to and during flight
• cover all flight systems, navigation data and flight controls
• choose from over 22,000 airports around the world for your landings and takeoffs
• modify the simulated weather conditions, time of day, and time of year
• try out visual approaches, instrument approaches, and ILS approaches
• manipulate the flight management computer to assist navigation
• use the auto pilot features for specific flight sectors

The longer your session, the more comprehensive will be your coverage and use of the above aspects, and the more aspects you will have time to sample. Within the time constraints, every flight experience is adapted to meet your needs.

Fledgling Flight

Try ICAROS with our introductory Fledgling Flight. You’ll be fully briefed and assisted with the operation of ICAROS and the Virtual Reality gear as you become familiar with shifting your centre of gravity to control your flight. When you’ve finished your warm-up, you’ll engage in two full-length games.

Although individual times will vary, please allow 30 minutes for your flight. It often takes less time, but we won't rush you.

Falcon Flight

Explore ICAROS for 30 minutes with our Falcon Flight. If you've not used ICAROS before, we'll introduce you so you can make the most of your time.

Designed for those who’ve completed their Fledgling Flight, our Falcon Flights take you to the next level with the support of our instructor. You’ll have an ICAROS to yourself for 30 minutes, and choose from a range of agility, battle and exploration games. Fend off an alien attack, improve your high score racing through the hoops or navigate through the winding path and tunnel. In 30 minutes, you’ll have time to complete 7 or 8 games.

Falcon Flights can be kept to yourself, or we recommend you share your 30 minutes with a friend.

During your session, your family will have exclusive access to the B737 jet simulator and to ICAROS. Each family member will captain the simulator for an experience that will long be remembered.
